Simon has over 20 years’ experience in senior performance & risk analytics leadership roles across various organisations encompassing large pension funds, government/sovereign funds, asset managers and administrators.

Simon joined IFM in April 2023 and is responsible for the leadership and management of the global performance and risk analytics function with teams located in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, and London.

Prior to joining IFM, Simon was contracting at NSW Treasury Corporation for nearly two years as a consultant in the investment analytics team, and was manager, risk & performance analytics at Sunsuper (now Australian Retirement Trust) for over five years.

Prior to Sunsuper, he held senior management positions at BNY Mellon, Russell Investments and Govett Asset Management.

Simon’s career achievements include the development and implementation of custom multi-asset attribution methodologies, development of comprehensive performance reporting suites, responsibility for the selection, appointment and implementation of Aladdin’s investment risk system at Sunsuper and overseeing a period of significant business growth in his role as the managing director of BNY Mellon’s Performance & Risk Analytics business in Australia and Asia.

Simon is a bachelor of commerce, specialising in finance and economics, from the University of New South Wales.
